Therese Gramercy . . . the girl named Trees

No Matter

No matter, that my feet touch the earth,
while your feet trace the sky,
for every time I breathe your name,
I feel your feet next to mine.

On this earth I held you close,
before you traveled far,
still, just one heartfelt thought of you
transports me deep within your arms.

I know you hear the words of love
that I voice to you each day,
for your dream state whispers back to me,
nightly erase my tears and pain.

As I continue walking
along my path here on this earth,
I see the light you shine for me,
to sweep the shadows from my world.

No matter, that your heart dwells within
our universal home,
for this world is but illusion,
always, and forever, are we one.
